Getting Verified as a Service Provider
Learn how to get verified on SoundBridge and earn a verification badge that builds trust with clients and helps you stand out.
What is Verification?
Verification is a process that confirms your identity as a service provider. When you're verified, you get a special badge on your profile that shows clients you're a trusted professional.

Where to find Persona on SoundBridge
On the web app, identity verification for service providers is started from your dashboard—not from a standalone “verify” page in settings.
- Sign in and go to Dashboard.
- In the left sidebar, select Service Provider.
- Scroll to the card titled Identity verification (Persona) (there is a help icon linking to this article).
- When you have Premium or Unlimited and all prerequisites in that section show as met, click Get Verified Professional. SoundBridge opens Persona in a new browser tab where you will submit a government-issued ID and complete face / selfie verification. If your browser blocks pop-ups, the site may navigate in the same tab instead—complete the flow there.
You do not upload ID or selfie files through SoundBridge forms; Persona collects those steps in their hosted flow.
Verification Requirements
Before you can start verification with Persona, you need to complete these prerequisites:
Complete Profile
Fill out your display name, headline, bio, and select service categories.
Active Service Offering
Publish at least one active service offering with pricing.
Portfolio Items
Add at least one portfolio item showcasing your work.
Completed Bookings
Complete at least one booking successfully (optional but recommended).
Average Rating
Maintain a good average rating from client reviews.
Stripe Payouts Ready
Connect your Stripe account for receiving payments.
How to Verify (Persona)
Identity checks are completed through Persona in a new browser tab. You do not upload ID or selfie files on SoundBridge.
- 1Complete prerequisites & Premium — Meet the requirements below and have an active Premium or Unlimited plan. On Dashboard → Service Provider, use the Identity verification (Persona) card to see which checklist items are still outstanding.
- 2Start or resume Persona — In that same card, click Get Verified Professional (the label may show Starting… briefly). Allow the new tab and follow Persona’s steps. If you already began, use the same button to resume when Persona returns a resume link.
- 3Finish in Persona — Persona will guide you through government ID and face / selfie capture. Use good lighting and a current, unexpired ID.
- 4Wait for status — When Persona completes review, your Service Provider dashboard status updates. If something is still in progress, click Get Verified Professional again from the Identity verification (Persona) card to resume.
Verification Status
Not Requested
You haven’t started Persona yet. Complete the prerequisites on Dashboard → Service Provider, then click Get Verified Professional in Identity verification (Persona).
In progress / review
You may still need to finish steps in Persona, or Persona is reviewing your inquiry. Open Dashboard → Service Provider → Identity verification (Persona) and click Get Verified Professional again to resume.
Approved
Congratulations! You're verified. Your badge is live on your profile.
Not verified
Verification did not pass. When you’re ready, try again from Dashboard → Service Provider → Identity verification (Persona) → Get Verified Professional.
Tips for Successful Verification
- 🪟 New tab: Persona opens in a separate tab—keep it open until you finish, and disable strict pop-up blockers for this site if the tab doesn’t open.
- 📸 Clear photos: In Persona, use good lighting so your ID and selfie are readable.
- 📄 Valid ID: Use a current, government-issued ID that hasn't expired.
- 👤 Match your profile: The name on your ID should match your profile name (or be clearly related).
- 💼 Complete profile: A complete, professional profile supports a smooth verification experience.
- ⭐ Good reviews: Positive client reviews help demonstrate your legitimacy.
